Entry Level Historic Restoration  Assistant

Full-time, available immediately

We are seeking a motivated individual with an interest in preserving and restoring historic structures.  No experience or tools :  necessary; we will train you I the basics of carpentry, masonry, metal working and many more historic building techniques.  We work on a wide variety of projects, from timber frame barns to log cabins, museums and private homes.  Our company is based in Franklin, OH and we work jobs from Cincinnati to Troy and surrounding areas. 

This entry-level position is an excellent learning opportunity for a self-motivated individual with a mechanical aptitude and an interest in history.

Qualifications:
- 18 years of age or older
- Valid drivers' license
- Reliable transportation
- Non-smoker/tobacco user
- Ability to work in a variety of conditions, including dirty, hot, cold, and heights
- Candidates will be subject to a background check before employment

Pay/Benefits:
- $15.00 per hour starting pay
- 7 paid holidays per year
- Paid vacation after one year of full-time work and accrued thereafter
- Retirement plan available after two years
- Inquire about other benefits

- Typical Monday-Friday work week with evenings and weekends off and some flexibility in scheduling
